1. Who we are
1.1 This website is operated by Bifrost Studios UK Ltd ("Bifrost", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16411890, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
1.2 Bifrost is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Questions and requests concerning personal data should be sent to privacy@bifroststudios.com.
1.3 This policy covers the Bifrost websites on which it is published, including bifroststudios.com and the websites of the Bifrost house of brands that link to it.
2. What we collect, and why
2.1 Technical data. When you visit the website, our hosting provider records technical information in server logs: the IP address of your device, the pages requested, the date and time of the request, and the browser and operating system used. We use this information to deliver the website, to keep it secure, and to diagnose faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a functioning and secure website.
2.2 Newsletter data. If you sign up to our newsletter, we collect the email address you provide and use it only to send you the updates you signed up for. The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to privacy@bifroststudios.com, and we will stop sending you emails and delete your address.
2.3 Correspondence. If you contact us by email, we hold the correspondence for as long as is needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to the people who write to us.
2.4 We do not collect any other personal data through the website, and we do not use the website to make automated decisions about you or to profile you.
3. Cookies and analytics
3.1 The website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no third-party embeds, and its typefaces are served from our own hosting rather than from a font network. Your visit is not tracked.
3.2 If we introduce analytics or any other technology that changes this, we will update this policy first, and where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
4. Who processes your data
4.1 The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States, which processes the technical data described in section 2.1 on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement.
4.2 Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses together with the UK addendum, as applicable.
4.3 We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires us to.
5. How long we keep it
5.1 Server logs are kept for the short rolling period our hosting provider retains them for operational and security purposes.
5.2 Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
5.3 Correspondence is kept for as long as is needed to deal with the matter it concerns, and no longer.
6. Your rights
6.1 Under the UK GDPR and, where it applies to you, the EU GDPR, you have the right to ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing of it, and to receive it in a portable form.
6.2 To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@bifroststudios.com. We will respond within one month.
6.3 You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), and in the European Union, the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work, for example Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk) in Denmark.
7. Changes to this policy
7.1 If we change what the website collects or how we use it, we will update this policy and change the date shown at the top of this page. The version published here is the version that applies.
